Story of the Week! Great accomplishments comes through hard work!

Children learn best when they are allowed to ask questions, explore, touch, test, observe, and try again. A child who asks, “Why?” is not being difficult. A child who takes things apart is not always being destructive. A child who wants to pour, mix, build, climb, count, sort, or investigate is doing the serious work of learning. When adults shut down curiosity too quickly, children may begin to believe that their questions do not matter. But when we listen, guide, and create safe spaces for exploration, we teach children that learning is meaningful. Children do not only learn from worksheets. They learn from play, nature, stories, conversations, mistakes, movement, and everyday experiences. Our job is not to fill children with answers. Our job is to help them stay curious enough to keep learning. A curious child is a thinking child. A thinking child is a growing child.

Why do some children struggle with phonics?
It is not because they are lazy. It is not because they are not smart. Many children struggle with phonics because they have not yet developed the foundation needed to connect sounds, letters, and words.
Phonics can be difficult when a child:
•does not clearly hear the individual sounds in words
• has trouble remembering letter sounds
• confuses letters that look or sound alike
• has had limited reading practice at home or school
• is pushed to read before they are ready
• needs more repetition, patience, and one-on-one support
Children do not all learn to read at the same pace. Some children need phonics taught slowly, clearly, and consistently. They need songs, games, pictures, movement, stories, and daily practice.
The mistake we often make is thinking a child “should know this already.” Instead, we need to ask: What foundation is missing?
When we identify the gap early and support the child properly, reading becomes less frustrating and more possible.
Every child can learn, but every child may need a different path.

Every child learns differently and every child deserves an environment where they are seen, supported, and encouraged to grow.
At Learners Academy, we believe that learning should not be rushed, forced, or treated as one-size-fits-all. Young children need patience, structure, creativity, and caring adults who understand how they develop.
Our approach focuses on:
✅ Building strong early literacy and numeracy skills
✅ Supporting children who need extra time and guidance
✅ Encouraging confidence, curiosity, and independence
✅ Creating a safe and nurturing learning environment
✅ Helping each child progress at his or her own pace
As Early Childhood Educators, we know that the early years matter. When children receive the right support early, they do not just improve academically they begin to believe in themselves.
At Learners Academy, we are not just teaching lessons. We are building foundations for lifelong learning.
Learners Academy where every child is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and shine.

Smart kids demonstrate:- Curiosity
They ask many questions, explore their environment, and want to understand how things work. Curiosity is often a stronger sign of intelligence than simply knowing answers.
