GPL || EMERGENCY SERVICE INTERRUPTION - WEST COAST DEMERARA

Dear Customers, please be advised that Guyana Power and Light Inc. (GPL) will be conducting emergency works in Vreed-en-Hoop to remove vegetation posing a threat to the L6 Transmission Line, which interconnects the Kingston and Vreed-en-Hoop Substations, and to protect the integrity of the network.

As a result, customers between from Hague to Best Village will experience an interruption in electricity supply from approximately 12:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs.

GPL recognises the inconvenience caused by unscheduled service interruptions, however, these works are necessary to ensure the continued safety, reliability, and integrity of the network.
