🎞️ Our festival program is officially live!

This year’s beautifully curated lineup features over 30 films from more than 20 countries across the region. In addition to the activist cinema retrospective already announced, there are unforgettable new feature films, and as ever several programs of dynamic short films. Themes of resistance and resilience, ancestral memory, diasporic connections, and the power of performance run through these boundary-pushing works.

Third Horizon returns to Miami for our 8th Film Festival on May 29th-June 1st. Alongside cutting-edge Caribbean films, there will also be expanded cinema propositions, panel discussions with attending filmmakers, as well as the mind-and-body-liberating social events for which THFF has become legendary. More info to come.

Muchísimas gracías to the Transcultura program by UNESCO Habana, for supporting our attendance at this year’s Nuevas Miradas where our skill at talking about and pitching our project, “CHRIS & THE DISCIPLES,” was very carefully honed and nurtured.

Everyone loved the project and from those who’ve gave us feedback on areas where our pitch and story were in need of work, we have learned so much about how to make it better.

This was an amazing experience and we would encourage filmmakers to apply and attend. Your project will thank you.

The campus of EIC TV is a special place. We spent 3 days working on our projects, attending masterclasses and one-on-one sessions where we got honest feedback on our projects and pitches.

I left with a better understanding of our project, “CHRIS & the DISCIPLES,” how to talk about it to potential funders, and how to improve the story itself.

Muchísimas gracías to Nuevas Miradas EICTV, UNESCO HABANA, and the Transcultura program for this amazing experience.

Looking forward to continuing the journey to make this film a reality.
