𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥: Employers, Self employed persons and Voluntary contributors.

1. Contributions are payable by the 15th day of every month in respect of the previous months earring.

Visit our Brickdam Head Office, Camp & Bent Street Office or any NIS Local Offices to pay.

2. Self- Employed persons can pay their NIS contributions using the MMG app from the comfort of their homes or offices.

As part of its Occupational Safety and Health initiatives, the National Insurance Scheme successfully hosted its Inter-Office Art Competition 2026 under the theme, "Good Psychosocial Working Environments: A Pathway to Thriving Workers and Organizations."

The competition was opened to staff members and their children from all fourteen (14) NIS Local Offices, encouraging participants to creatively depict the importance of positive psychosocial factors in the workplace, including workload management, role clarity, autonomy, fairness, and transparency.

Participants competed for trophies, showcasing remarkable talent, creativity, and an appreciation for the value of healthy and supportive work environments.

The National Insurance Scheme (NIS) earlier today joined the Ministry of Finance at the Vice-President Bharrat Jagdeo’s Region Six Public Day held at the University of Guyana Campus, Tain, Corentyne.

During the outreach, the Scheme was on site providing essential services, addressing NIS-related queries, and assisting contributors and pensioners with important information regarding their benefits and contributions.

The initiative provided members of the public with the opportunity to engage directly with agencies and receive guidance on a range of services and matters of concern. See less
