GENERATION NEXT COMPLETES ESSENTIAL OUTREACH ON GUYANA DEVELOPMENT BANK

Georgetown, Guyana - The Generation Next Community Development Association successfully hosted an Essential Outreach session on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at its Wortmanville location, providing the community with valuable information about the Guyana Development Bank.

The session shared information on the proposed Guyana Development Bank, including potential financing opportunities, eligibility, business preparation and the importance of developing a practical business plan and structure.

Presenters included Joshua Griffith, Anella Massiah, Althia Lee, Sherrose Parris and Martin Massiah.

Martin Massiah, Administrator of Generation Next, said:

“The Guyana Development Bank has the potential to be more than a source of financing, it can become an engine of community transformation and generational empowerment. When people in our communities gain access to capital, knowledge and opportunity, they can build businesses, create jobs and elevate the future of their families for generations.”
