Brethren, Psalms 45:1 NKJV
[1] My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Topic: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED.

Scripture Reading: John 1:3 NKJV
[3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

There has always been strong disagreement about the Earth and how long it has existed. There are those who believe in old-earth creationism and accept scientific data regarding the Earth's age of approximately 4.5 billion years. There are also young-earth creationists who interpret Genesis literally and assert that the universe is between 6,000 and 10,000 years old.

When looking at Scripture, one must understand that Genesis chapters 1 and 2, which speak about creation, were not written metaphorically but literally. Understanding this means that the creation of the cosmos, the Earth, life, and humanity occurred within a seven-day period.

The common alternative to creationism is evolution, which is based on the belief that all living things came from a common ancestor and evolved over time. While creationists believe that everything came into existence when God spoke it into being, many evolutionists believe that the universe originated from the Big Bang.

A counterargument often presented is that there could have been a Big Bang, but that it occurred when God said, "Let there be light." While evolutionary theory attempts to explain how life changes over time, it does not explain how life originally began. The transition from non-living chemicals to a self-replicating, information-rich cell remains one of the greatest mysteries in science.

Evolution is believed to operate through genetic mutations. Many mutations are neutral or harmful, often resulting in a loss of genetic information. Some researchers question whether random mutations alone can generate entirely new and highly complex instructions required for life.

Genesis 1 makes it abundantly clear that God created all things by His spoken word. Nothing evolved into existence. If things were continually evolving into different kinds, it is argued that we should still observe such transformations today. Instead, God created every living thing according to its own kind. Living organisms were created with the ability to reproduce, bearing seed and fruit within themselves. This biological design enables them to continue reproducing and propagating according to their kind, which is why we still see them today.

Did you know the big bang what many speak about is when God said let there be light?

Tomorrow we will be looking at (ALL THINGS WERE CREATED) Part Two

Hallelujah! Praise God! Thank You, Jesus!

Brethren, Psalms 8:1 NKJV
[1] O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!

Topic: THE GATE OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL.
Part Five

Scripture Reading: Matthew 16:19 NKJV
[19] And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Jesus told Peter that whatever he binds on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever he looses on earth will be loosed in heaven. This has been the subject of many misinterpretations and misunderstandings, as many believe they can simply bind and loose anything. To understand what Jesus was saying, we must look at the context. Jesus was not telling Peter that whatever he binds or looses on earth controls heaven; rather, Peter was carrying out on earth what God had already decreed in heaven.

The phrase itself implies that a person’s declarations on earth must align with what God has already determined in heaven. This is contrary to what many believe, but it is according to Scripture. Therefore, when intercessors use the terminology of binding and loosing, it is not to create something new or dramatic, but it must be in accordance with what God has already spoken and what is empowered and directed through the Holy Spirit.

A general overview of what was discussed over the past few days is that the gate of hell is not a literal gate, but rather the schemes, tactics, and counsel of Satan against the church. The church is not on the defensive, but on the offensive, because God empowers the church through His authority. The church fights against the gate of hell, and the gate of hell cannot withstand the attack. As believers, we must allow Scripture to come alive within us and not read our own meanings into it. By doing this, we will better understand the reasoning behind what was said.

Did you know that Peter was carrying out what God had already decreed in heaven?

Tomorrow we will be looking at (ALL THINGS WERE CREATED)

Hallelujah! Praise God! Thank You, Jesus!

*Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, please help me to always read Your Word in context. In Jesus' name, Amen!*

Brethren, Psalms 50:1 NKJV
[1] The Mighty One, God the Lord, Has spoken and called the earth From the rising of the sun to its going down.

Topic: THE GATE OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL.
Part Three

Scripture Reading: Matthew 16:19 NKJV
[19] And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

In the ancient Near East, the king appointed a chief steward to manage the palace while the king was away. The steward wore a literal key on his shoulder as a symbol of his authority to grant or deny access to the king’s presence. Jesus is the King, and He appointed Peter as His chief steward to help govern the earthly kingdom, the Church, during His absence.

The phrase “shall be bound in heaven” uses a rare Greek grammatical structure called the periphrastic future perfect passive. The literal meaning is “will have already been bound” or “having been bound.” This means Peter and the apostles did not dictate rules to God. Instead, they received divine revelation from heaven and declared it on earth. Their decisions mirrored heaven; heaven did not follow their decisions.

In first-century Judaism, “binding” and “loosing” were common legal terms used by rabbis. “Binding” declared a behavior forbidden under the Mosaic Law, while “loosing” declared a behavior permitted. The early Church put this into practice in Acts 15 at the Council of Jerusalem. The apostles had to decide whether Gentile converts were required to follow Jewish dietary laws and circumcision. They loosed the Gentiles from these requirements, defining Church doctrine under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Giving Peter the keys meant giving him the authority to open the doors of the kingdom of heaven to new believers, acting as a trusted steward of Christ’s household. Peter’s early decisions were not meant to change God’s mind, but rather to faithfully execute and proclaim God’s heavenly plans.

Did you know Peter receiving the keys to the Kingdom gave him the responsibility to open the Kingdom of heaven to new believers?

Brethren, Psalms 25:2 NKJV
[2] O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.

Topic: REJECT DIVISIVE BEHAVIOR

Scripture Reading: Titus 3:10-11 NKJV
[10] Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, [11] knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

The Apostle Paul urges Titus to reject a divisive person after the first and second admonitions. This means that if someone is stirring up arguments, creating factions, or promoting false doctrine, the leader must give that person a formal warning twice. If they refuse to repent or correct their behavior, they are to be removed from fellowship.

These individuals are fundamentally corrupted and are acting contrary to the faith because they deliberately choose to persist in their divisive ways. In doing so, they effectively condemn themselves through their own actions.

This divisiveness is not isolated, but follows what the Apostle Paul previously instructed believers to avoid. These behaviors refer to a stubborn focus on pointless arguments, foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strife about the law, all of which can fracture the church. The primary purpose of this instruction is the protection of the entire congregation and the preservation of sound doctrine, rather than simply acting punitively toward a specific person.

Did you know individuals who are fundamentally corrupt always act contrary to the faith?

Tomorrow we will be looking at (THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL)

Hallelujah! Praise God! Thank You, Jesus!

*Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, please help me to always give ears to sound doctrine. In Jesus' name, Amen!*
