On 21 May 2026, our vessel M/T ALKIVIADIS participated in a friendly boarding conducted by EUNAVFOR MED warship P431 Francesco Morosini in the Central Mediterranean as part of Operation IRINI.

During the visit, military personnel embarked the vessel for information exchange and familiarization purposes, with discussions covering vessel particulars, voyage information and onboard emergency procedures.

The operation forms part of EUNAVFOR MED Operation IRINI’s efforts to support a safe and secure maritime environment and promote cooperation and information exchange across the merchant shipping community.

Capital Ship Management Corp. participated in the 5th IENE Energy & Shipping Seminar, “Energy Security, Energy Transition and the New Maritime Reality”, organized by the Institute of Energy for SE Europe (IENE) at the B & E Goulandris Foundation in Athens.

Mr. Nikolas Vaporis, our Chief Technical Officer and Member of the BoD of MARTECMA, participated as a speaker in Session II, “Vessel Certification for Energy Cargoes,” discussing the evolving technical and regulatory landscape of energy transportation in shipping.

During the session, he shared insights on fuel flexibility, future-ready vessel technologies, and the broader energy transition, highlighting Capital Ship Management’s commitment to innovation and sustainability through investments in dual-fuel LNG vessels, digital fleet optimization platforms, biofuel initiatives, and next-generation decarbonization technologies.
