Le Monde also published an English version of Lechaion Harbour Project's ground breaking – and may I add – first hardcore scientific results of Late Bronce Age and Dark Age harbour activity in Europe.

In Corinth, remains of port activity date back to 1200 BC An international team of archaeologists working on the origins of the ancient port – dated to the seventh century BC – has discovered that it was in operation half a millennium before that time, in the Bronze Age.

We are very happy that millions of Japanese have and will watch this NHK national documentary on ancient Greece’s sea power and proud the Ephorate recommended our particpation - this is just a small clip of the Piraeus segment 🙂
