Based in Vienna, Juliette Martineau develops a practice rooted in the subtle spaces between emotion, memory, and perception. Her work explores the instability of inner experience, approaching figuration as a fluid and evolving language rather than a fixed representation.

Using acrylic, charcoal, watercolor, and oil pastel, she creates layered compositions that move between presence and disappearance. Through gestures of blurring, repetition, and fragmentation, her paintings evoke atmospheres that feel intimate yet unresolved, encouraging open-ended interpretation.

Rather than beginning with a clear narrative, Juliette’s process often starts from sensation, mood, or psychological tension. Images emerge gradually through accumulation and erasure, allowing ambiguity to remain central to the work.

Juliette’s practice is driven by an interest in vulnerability, transformation, and the emotional weight carried by the body and image. Balancing sensitivity with restraint, the paintings invite viewers into reflective spaces where meaning remains unstable, shifting between what is seen, remembered, and imagined.

To Love an Idea Back

Some don’t arrive clearly.

Some begin as a pull—
something that returns without explaining itself.

You could ignore them.
Let them pass.

But they come back.

Not louder, not clearer—just closer.

Some follow you into quiet moments, into sleep,
into the spaces where the world feels larger than it did before.

A few start to feel less like something you’ve had
and more like something waiting for you.

Waiting to be met.
Waiting to be continued.

So you start to answer.

Not all at once, but over time—
by returning, by paying attention, by refusing to let them disappear.

And in that exchange, something shifts.

What once moved only inside you begins to take shape—
to gather form, to stand, to exist beyond you.

To love an idea back is to stay with it
until it no longer belongs only to you.

We become what we return to in thought and love.

Olga Katsara, born and raised in Athens, completed her studies at the Faculty of Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she began, about eight years ago, to further engage with and explore her artistic identity.

She attended courses in drawing and color, focusing primarily on expression through acrylics, especially on large canvases. Olga, is gradually experimenting with new natural materials while simultaneously completing a 3D Animation program at IEK Intergraphics. This has led her to explore creative possibilities in the digital world, attempting to bring to life images and figures that exist in her imagination.

She held her first solo exhibition in March 2025 and also participated in two of our monthly showcases in Athens, where her digital artworks accompanied her physical painting in Jump!, one of our collaborators in Athens.

Born and raised on the island of Zakynthos, his connection to music has always been deeply rooted in his life. For over 15 years, he has been actively immersed in the global electronic scene — listening, exploring, and experiencing clubs and festivals around the world.

Drawn to depth and emotion in sound, he developed a strong love and devotion for deep, atmospheric music. Alongside his journey as a listener, he plays percussion and has been steadily evolving as a producer over the past few years, shaping a sound that reflects both his influences and his origins.

“Origins” is a deep techno release rooted in memory, place, and personal identity.

Built around five tracks, the project draws inspiration from specific locations on the artist’s home island — spaces where nature, water, and time intertwine. Each piece captures a distinct atmosphere, translating lived moments into hypnotic rhythms and immersive textures.

Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Rene Kitsli studied architecture at the Aristotelian University in Thessaloniki and holds a post graduate degree in Urban planning at Metsovio Technical University of Athens. Having worked for numerous years in the architecture design consultancy and construction fields in Greece and the Middle East, Rene relocated to Greece in 2019 to slow down pace and offer more time to family, and to allow personal growth through creativity whilst exploring her calling as an artist, allowing intuitive visions path their way to materializing on canvas.

Her paintings explore the interactions between mystical and pragmatic realms of nature, of forms and creatures, human-like nymphs, with fragments of real life, with the composition symbolizing a message for/from nature and humanity.

Inspired by the ecological and nature philosophy of Miyazaki’s films, her paintings invite viewers to discover and sense a mystical play of a familiar realm thus exploring charactersunderneath the surface of reality. She is intrigued by the emotional journey through the evolving emerging of realms and characters, which consequently invites the same engagement by the audience; to look deeply inside and engage with emotions, meanings, and even imagine a story.

Rene’s process is one of construction and then deconstruction, allowing her figures emerge from the colors of nature. She will paint a mystical landscape and allow the figures come out in the light, exploring a journey, through emotional interaction with nature.

She uses meticulous layering techniques of tonal shifts and organic forms, to give a sense of balance between mythical and physical, eager to depict a composition of lush balanced energy. Combines bright colors to create peaceful scenes, inviting viewers into a tranquil world of vivid wilderness, welcoming a sense of energetic serenity. The main goal is to instill the same sense of exploration and emotional journey into people’s lives that she feels every time while creating a painting.
