Yafka had the pleasure of handling all VFX for this fantastic film, now having its World Premiere at the Locarno Film Festival, in the Main Competition!

Ice, snow, fog, rolling clouds, and mountains, Yafka was trusted with over 100 complex VFX shots for Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2.

Not so long ago, Yafka completed around 600 VFX shots for So Long, Marianne as the one and only VFX vendor for the series.
A co-production of Norway’s NRK, Greece’s Cosmote, and Canada’s Crave, filming taking place in Montreal, Oslo, and the Greek island of Hydra.
Among other things our work included set extensions, CG Vehicles, weather manipulation, and crowd multiplication, as we turned back time by half a century for all these locations plus making Athens look like New York of the 60s!
We had the privilege of working closely with two lovely people and professionals, Øystein Karlsen and Ingeborg Klyve. Vasilis Tzanidis, from the Greek side, was our guardian angel.
