R/V ATHOS has been upgraded as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen her field research capabilities, providing an integrated platform for hydrographic surveying, underwater operations, and marine mammal expeditions.

• DFF3D multibeam (fish-finder mode)
• BBDS singlebeam with backscatter
• ROV CHASING M2s (grabber arm, laser scaler & sampler)
• FLIR M300C 360° HD + hydrophone for cetacean expeditions
• TimeZero Pro + PBG for navigation & survey workflows
• Full diving services onboard

Operational profile:
• Up to 2 weeks offshore autonomy
• All-weather operational flexibility
• Shallow draft access to coastal & shallow-water sites
• Accommodation for up to 6 scientists + 3 crew
