Rotaract Club Glyfada

Καλεσμένος από τους ομίλους Rotary Βρυξελλών και Rotaract Βρυξελλών στην εκδήλωση στο Δημαρχείο της πόλης για την ανταλλαγή μαθητών και φοιτητών που λαμβάνει χώρα κάθε χρόνο παγκοσμίως. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, πρόκειται για το Student Exchange Programme που διαρκεί έναν χρόνο και για το Holiday Exchange Programme που διαρκεί 2-3 εβδομάδες στο πλαίσιο των Προγραμμάτων του Διεθνούς Rotary. Τροφή για σκέψη λοιπόν αλλά και μια καλή ευκαιρία για να αναλάβουμε παρόμοιες πρωτοβουλίες στην χώρα μας. Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ για αυτό το όμορφο βράδυ.

Invited by the Rotary Club of Brussels and Rotaract Brussels Coudenberg Internationalat the city hall for the event of the youth exchange which takes place every year collaborating with many countries worldwide. Additionally, it is about the Student Exchange Programme (one year) and the Holiday Exchange Programme (2-3 weeks), in the framework of Rotary International's Programmes. Food for thought and a good opportunity for us to take similar initiatives in our country. Thank you so much for this pleasant evening.

Χθες είχαμε μια διαφορετική συνάντηση ομίλου στο Bowling Center του Πειραιά. Μαζί μας άτομα που ενδιαφέρονται να γνωρίσουν την αποστολή και τις δράσεις μας. Guest star ο Taha από τον όμιλο Karşıyaka Rotaract Kulübüτης Σμύρνης στην Τουρκία. Πολλά strikes δεν κάναμε, αλλά σίγουρα περάσαμε πολύ ωραία. Κάποια άλλη ιδέα για συνάντηση;

Yesterday our meeting was held at the Bowling Center in Piraeus. We had with us individuals who are interested in learning about our mission and our activities. Guest star Taha from Rotaract Club of Karsiyaka in Izmir, Turkey. Not so many strikes but we really enjoyed it. Any other idea for the next place to meet up?

Ο όμιλός μας πήρε μέρος μέσω Skype στο project του ομίλου Rotaract Club of Amman Citadelτης Ιορδανίας "Language Exchange" κατόπιν πρότασης που μας έγινε στα πλαίσια ανταλλαγής πολιτισμικών στοιχείων και συγκεκριμένα γλωσσικών. Για παράδειγμα, ξέρατε ότι "Sabah al khair" σημαίνει "Καλημέρα" στα Αραβικά και "Keef halek/halek "Τι κάνεις;" ; Στην παρέα μας επίσης ήταν και Ροταράκτορες από τον όμιλο Karsiyaka της Σμύρνης στην Τουρκία που συμμετειχαν ενεργά στη γλωσσική αυτή διάδραση. Μια πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα και πρωτότυπη πρωτοβουλία που ελπίζουμε να γίνει ξανά σύντομα και να καθιερωθεί.
Our club took part via Skype in the project of Rotaract Club of Amman Citadel in Jordan, "Language Exchange" after a proposal we received in the framework of exchanging cultural and linguistic elements. For example, did you know that "Sabah al khair" means "Good morning" in Arabic and "Keef halak/halek" "How are you?". Rotaractors from the Rotaract Club of Karsiyaka-Izmir in Turkey were also with us participating actively in the language interaction. A very interesting and different initiative we hope to continue in the years to come.
