We live in the midst of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Technology is advancing in an extremely rapid manner, bringing about deep structural changes to the production process, labor relations and the very concept of artistic creation. Automation, robotics and artificial intelligence are changing everything in the way we work, in the ways we express our creativity. But, we must not forget: technology is an instrument, a tool and as such, it’s neutral, it does not predetermine our destinies by itself. It is the ownership of technology and the ways in which it is used that determine the ways -negative or positive- technology affects our lives. The discussion on this very important issue is absent from the public domain and the political debate. Let’s inaugurate it!
