Meet Tomathias Glidder. The Dark Arts professor of Eris, the city of technology. I gray. Warlock. Trying to learn blood magic from a player of mine. He has a dead crow as familiar and a shadow in a cage.

I was looking for reference for the character and stumbled upon this AI image (4th Pic). Nice brushstoke. Nice atmosphere. I was like why not? I will copy it as a study to understand it. Later my more sketchy style came on surface. So why not take it from here?
I changed the hair and the palette a little and this came out. I don't know. Which one you prefer?

The current party heading to a flying tower which looks a lot like that of Strad's. 😁 It consists of Ailith, the tabaxi echo Knight carring a destructive glave and who's body was stollen from a powerful archmage. Zaarck, a vengeful, dragonborn Paladin with great polearm skills, Ursa, a woodelf Druid of circle of spores, who is the utility of the party and Pyre, a fire genasi Sworlock focused on melee greatweapons and sets everything ablaze.
