🌟Νέος κύκλος εργαστηρίων στο Lalava!🌟
To Comics Club θέλει να φέρει κοντά λάτρεις των κόμικ και των ζινς μέσα από εβδομαδιαία εργαστήρια, ανεξαρτήτως γνώσεων και εμπειρίας!
Κάθε Σάββατο στις 12:00, θα πειραματιζόμαστε με διαφορετικούς τρόπους αφήγησης, υλικών και απεικόνισης, ενώ θα υπάρχουν και μίνι παρουσιάσεις/take overs έκπληξη από διάφορα καλλιτεχνα κόμικ!
Τα εργαστήρια δεν έχουν την αυστηρή δομή ενός μαθήματος, αλλά ενθαρρύνουν το αμοιβαίο μοίρασμα εμπειριών, γνώσεων και οπτικών, ενώ είναι ανοιχτά στον αυτοσχεδιασμό.
Παρέχουμε τα υλικά! Μπορείτε παρόλα αυτά να φέρετε το αγαπημένο σας πενάκι.
Ξεκινάμε: 8 Νοεμβρίου
Γλώσσα διεξαγωγής: Ελληνικά (αυτό μπορεί να αλλάξει αν χρειαστεί)

🌟New cycle of workshops at Lalava!🌟
Comics Club aims to unite comic and zine lovers through weekly meet-ups, apart from "levels" of experience.
Every Saturday at 12:00, we'll be experimenting with different ways of storytelling, materials and depictions, while we'll have surprise mini presentations/workshop takeovers from fellow comic artists!
The workshops are free-form,not so close to a class, encouraging mutual knowledge sharing to the group, while they're open to improvisation.
We provide materials! Feel free to bring your fav ink pen.
We start: November 8th
Main language: Greek (that can change if needed)
Duration: 2 to 3 hours
Fees: 4 meet-ups bundle (monthly) 40€, drop in 12€
Dm or for bookings/info!
The space is not fully accessible to wheelchair users (1 step for the toilet).

***Note: The workshops are for adults. Workshops for kids/teens can be organized if there are people interested (DM us!)

Workshop "Drawing for Justice" in Chania, 23/09/25, 19:00, during Chaniartoon festival ✍️

Join the action "Drawing for Justice": we create images of solidarity to stand collectively against the criminalisation of migrants and refugees in Greece.

Currently, over 2,200 people are imprisoned in Greece, accused of being smugglers, and judged in express trials, without proper interpreters or legal defense. Among them, more than 90 young Sudanese are in Cretan jails.

Let's talk about what is happening, and create together posters, paintings, comics and more, to make the situation visible. ✊

50outofmany is a solidarity group supporting Sudanese detainees unjustly accused of smuggling. Part of our actions is organising events raising awareness, and creating networking with other solidarities, attending and monitoring the trials , raising money to support the needs of people in prison and after release. Keeping in contact and breaking the isolation & writing letters to the boys in prison.

"Drawing for Justice" comes to Lalava! ✏️✊

The event organised by "Until Everyone is Free" is coming this week from to our space. 

50 out of many is an initiative organising events in solidarity with the over 50 Sudanese boys wrongfully detained in greek prisons accused of smuggling.

On Thursday, from 20:30 we invite artists, collectives and anyone interested to join an open gathering of solidarity, conversation, and creation. Let’s come together to talk and create images that speak of the unjust treatment of people on the move, who are, in their attempt to reach safety, incarcerated as so-called smugglers.

It is important to gather and make this situation visible as the greek government just decided to suspend the right to asylum for people arriving from North Africa.

"Ζωγραφίζοντας για την δικαιοσύνη" έρχεται στη Lalava! ✏️✊

Η εκδήλωση που διοργανώνεται από το "Until Everyone is Free" & έρχεται αυτή την εβδομάδα από την , στον χώρο μας.

Το 50 out of many είναι μια πρωτοβουλία που διοργανώνει εκδηλώσεις αλληλεγγύης για τα πάνω από 50 αγόρια από το Σουδάν που κρατούνται άδικα σε ελληνικές φυλακές κατηγορούμενα για λαθρεμπόριο.

Την Πέμπτη, από τις 20:30, προσκαλούμε καλλιτέχνες, συλλογικότητες και όποιον ενδιαφέρεται να συμμετάσχει σε μια ανοιχτή συγκέντρωση αλληλεγγύης, συζήτησης και δημιουργίας. Ας ενωθούμε για να μιλήσουμε και να δημιουργήσουμε εικόνες που μιλούν για την άδικη μεταχείριση των ανθρώπων που μετακινούνται, οι οποίοι, στην προσπάθειά τους να φτάσουν στην ασφάλεια, φυλακίζονται ως λεγόμενοι λαθρέμποροι.

Είναι σημαντικό να συγκεντρωθούμε και να κάνουμε αυτή την κατάσταση ορατή, καθώς η ελληνική κυβέρνηση μόλις αποφάσισε να αναστείλει το δικαίωμα ασύλου για τους ανθρώπους που φτάνουν από τη Βόρεια Αφρική.
