We’re incredibly proud to be involved in Tovey Cottage Observatory, a truly unique initiative dedicated to conservation, education, and the protection of Gibraltar’s wild birds. 🕊️

Working alongside this inspiring vision, our teams at AMA Services and Sustainabuild provided full MEP design and supported the planning application with a strong focus on sustainability, including energy-saving strategies, predictive EPC, NZEB compliance, PV panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and innovative solutions like Genaq.

But this project is about so much more than technical delivery.

Tovey Cottage is being reimagined as an immersive educational experience, a place where visitors can learn, connect, and gain a deeper respect for nature and the incredible birds that call Gibraltar home.

It’s an honour to apply our expertise to something so impactful, a project that supports wildlife, inspires future generations, and reminds us of the importance of protecting our natural environment.

We’re excited to welcome Craig Bossano Anes to AMA Services as our new Trainee Fire Engineer!

Craig has already dived into site work, learning industry-standard calculations and tools, and getting hands-on with testing and project development. He especially enjoys any day that takes him out on site to see how projects evolve—a true engineer at heart! 🔥👷‍♂️

He describes our team culture as fun, hardworking, and outgoing, and we think he fits right in. Outside of work, Craig loves watching football, skiing, and playing hockey, and he’s currently watching The Diplomat on Netflix.
