We hope that this special time of year brings you all peace, joy and warmth in the days ahead.
We hope all of those celebrating have a wonderful time with food, family and friends, and that spirit of hope which Christmas represents is something we can all share as we look after one another.
This Christmas we are also thinking of all of those still working throughout the festive period. Thank you to all of those still hard at work to keep the lights on and to keep us all safe.

Wishing a joyful, safe and hopeful Hannukah to Gibraltar's wonderful Jewish community and to all those celebrating around the world. May this Festival of Lights bring comfort, resilience and renewed hope to every home.
While we hope that our local community can still find some joy in today's festivities, we are all feeling distraught and disgusted by the events in Sydney this morning.
We grieve together for the victims who simply wanted to worship in peace, and we stand in solidarity with all of those reeling from this targeted act of hate. We can only offer our deepest condolences to the families and communities affected by this horrific tragedy.
Change can often start in the quietest of places. When you find yourself alone, wishing there was someone by your side, and realising that one day you might be able to be there for someone else.
This week on Gibraltar Changemakers we spoke to Rosalina from Never Alone: Domestic Abuse Support Gibraltar about domestic abuse in our community — an issue that’s rarely spoken about, but still far too common. Like so many in Gibraltar, Rosalina turned her pain into action and has helped countless individuals access services and support to escape dangerous situations.
We’re immensely proud to have had her on, and to make sure Together Gibraltar are always a voice for everyone who believes in a better Gibraltar.
