Accounts Assistant Wanted!

Are you detail-oriented and experienced in financial record keeping?
We are seeking a reliable and organized Accounts Assistant to join our team!

Position: Accounts Assistant
Fixed Part time hours: Wednesday to Friday. 9.00 – 5 / 5.15pm
Salary: negotiable

Responsibilities:
• Input to financial management systems and assisting with Bank reconciliations
• Assistance with monitoring of the Sales ledger including processing invoices and credit notes and chasing outstanding debts
• Assistance with other finance team functions as required.

Experience
• Must have recent experience of working in a busy accounts function
• Must be proficient in the use of accounting software packages e.g. SAGE or Xero
• Use of Excel Word and Outlook

Knowledge/Skills
• Good level of excel including creating and updating workbooks
• High level of accuracy
• Excellent Communication skills
• Must have the ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines with little supervision
• Must be adaptable and be keen to learn quickly

Qualifications
• Accounting qualification preferred.
