🚲 You don’t need to be a cyclist to enjoy the benefits of cycling.

One of the biggest challenges I hear from women in their 40s and 50s is finding exercise they actually enjoy.
The good news? Movement doesn’t have to be intense to be effective.

Cycling is a fantastic way to improve your health while being kind to your joints. It helps strengthen your legs and core, supports heart health, improves blood sugar regulation, boosts your mood, and gets you outdoors, all without feeling like a gruelling workout.

Whether it’s a gentle ride along the seafront, cycling with friends, exploring a local trail, or swapping the car for a bike on short journeys, every ride contributes to better health.
Remember, consistency beats perfection.

You don’t need to cycle for hours or wear specialist gear. Just getting on your bike for 20–30 minutes a few times a week can make a real difference to your physical and mental wellbeing.

It’s been such a pleasure helping to organize well-being events this past year. On to summer holidays and a return to more exciting events in September.
