The numbers are clear, renewables alone would account for 45 million in 2050, exceeding today's 40 million jobs worldwide, yet over 19% of Ghana's youth aged 15 to 24 are currently not in employment, education, or training. The gap between potential and preparation is real. Closing it starts in the classroom.
At STEM4ALL, we believe the most powerful laboratory a can have is their own curiosity. That is why we are proud to introduce our Climate & Renewable Energy STEM Kit: A hands-on, activity-based learning tool designed to help learners explore energy, wind power, science, and sustainability through real experimentation, not just theory. Every activity in the kit is grounded in local content and designed to make abstract concepts systems tangible, exciting, and actionable for young minds.
With more than 60% of Africa's population under the age of 25 (World Economic Forum), and Africa's renewable energy potential capable of creating up to 100 million new jobs and livelihoods by 2050 (African Development Bank Group), the young person holding this kit today is not just a learner, they are a future energy engineer, climate , or green innovator.
We are grateful to be part of an ecosystem of change-makers who share this vision. Locally, we draw strength from the work of the Practical Education Network, Ghana Hubs Network, UNICEF Ghana,Ghana Commission for UNESCO, UNESCO Ghana, Ghana Climate Innovation Center (GCIC), Mastercard Foundation, Kids Discovery Channel, Climate and Development Knowledge Network Ghana, the Elsie Effah Kaufmann Foundation, GIZ Ghana, Telecel Ghana Foundation, MTN Ghana Foundation, Ashesi University, the Ashesi Center for Entrepreneurship, the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP), YOTA - Youth Opportunity and Transformation in Africa, Opportunity International, Friends of the Nation , all of whom are building the infrastructure for -powered development across .
Globally, we are inspired by the National Geographic Society, UNICEF, UNESCO, UNDP, Hamburg Sustainability Conference, The Melton Foundation, Ashoka, International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) , WWF, SolarAid, Teach the Future, movements and organisations whose work reminds us that is a necessity.
One kit. One . One step closer to a cleaner, smarter, more resilient world. 🌱
