1. Many in the urban areas may ask why they should be concerned with activities of illegal 🚫 mining hosted in rural communities.

2. Do you know that by hydrological study contaminants from mining activities do not only affect surface water such streams, rivers, lakes, lagoons....?

3. Do you know that specifically in Ghana most of our water bodies are interconnect either on surface or subsurface?

4. Do you know that contaminants that infiltrates an aquifer can affect a larger catchment depending on subsurface conditions?

5. The fight against 🚫 illegal mining is important and the security have to visit our chiefs and traditional leaders who give out their lands for such activities as well
