At Buta Visual Agency, it is our practice to let the people whose stories we document watch their recordings before we leave the community. Their satisfaction and confidence in how their stories are represented matter to us.
Just after completing a documentary recording session in Savelugu, we took a moment to share the footage with the beneficiaries who participated in the production. For many, it was an opportunity to see their own experiences, voices, and perspectives documented and preserved through visual storytelling.

At Buta Visual Agency, we believe the impact of a documentary begins long before it is published.

It was a solemn and emotional moment as many reflected on the life, values, and contributions of Dr. Mahama Seth Sayibu, a trained journalist, Senior Lecturer, and Head of the Department of Journalism at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Nyankpala. He also served as a Governing Board Member of the National Communications Authority (NCA)
