*Director’s New Year Message Delivered at Bethel Sanctuary*

On 18 January 2026, the Director of Christ-Like Youth Association Rev. Peter Etsey, delivered the New Year message during a special service that began with praise and worship, followed by an explanation of the purpose of the gathering.

The service featured several testimonies that aligned with the theme of the year. According to the testimonies shared, they clearly demonstrated that what God cannot do does not exist, reinforcing the power and faithfulness of God in the lives of His people.

Rev. Etsey expressed profound gratitude to God for the many good things He has done for the congregation, emphasizing that God is a covenant-keeping God. He officially announced the theme for the year as “Divine Possibilities as We Walk with God.” He explained that the theme is conditional, stressing that divine possibilities are activated through obedience. He referenced Deuteronomy 28:1–3 and Leviticus 26:3, noting that God promises blessings if His people walk in obedience with Him.

He declared that regardless of what may happen during the year, there shall be divine possibilities for God’s people.

Explaining what it means to walk with God, Rev. Etsey stated that it begins with an agreement between God and an individual concerning their life, citing Amos 3:3. He added that walking with God also requires aligning one’s will with God’s will, noting that when believers make God’s will their own, they will experience divine possibilities. Additionally, he emphasized the need to glorify God at all times and at any cost, referencing Genesis 48 where Jacob pronounced blessings upon his sons.

Rev. Etsey further explained that walking before God requires righteousness, blamelessness, and obedience, recalling God’s instruction to Abraham to walk before Him and be blameless. He cited Micah 6:8, urging believers to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God, stating that these qualities reflect a true walk with Him.

He declared that divine possibilities would manifest when believers walk with God, proclaiming that what had never been possible in the lives of their parents or themselves would become possible. He prayed that difficult situations would turn into testimonies of possibility, quoting Mark 10:27 and Jeremiah 32:27 to affirm that with God, all things are possible.

Rev. Etsey declared that anything deemed impossible by humans would become possible through God, including challenges related to marriage, employment, and personal breakthroughs, predicting visible testimonies by the end of the third month of the year. He further proclaimed that the year would go beyond medical, pastoral, and human limitations, affirming that divine possibilities would prevail.

Referencing Mark 9:23 and Luke 18:27, he explained that while all things are possible for those who believe, God’s power is not limited by human faith, noting that Lazarus was raised without exercising faith. He reiterated that what God cannot do does not exist and affirmed God as a God of possibilities in every area, including health.

Rev. Etsey emphasized the importance of vision, stating that divine possibilities belong to those who can see them. He cited Jeremiah 1 and declared that as far as one’s eyes can see, their legs would carry them there. He encouraged the congregation to begin seeing what they desire God to do, explaining that what cannot be seen cannot be seized, and that God gives according to what His people are able to perceive.

In his take-home message, he stressed that what one sees determines what one receives. During the prayer session, he declared speed and acceleration over the congregation, proclaiming that lost opportunities would pursue them and that progress would come swiftly.

The service concluded with Apostle Counselor leading the congregation in powerful declarations, proclaiming joy for the year and affirming that whatever the people seek from God would be received immediately and not delayed.
