EOCO releases statement on the arrest of Dennis Aboagye and Gerald Appiah over investigations into alleged financial and procurement-related irregularities involving GH¢55 million at IMCCoD.

President John Mahama has directed the opening of six waste transfer stations that were constructed more than nine years ago but were not operationalised, as part of efforts to improve Ghana's waste management system.

Speaking on the second day of the National Cleanup Exercise at Alajo, he said the second day of the exercise is to ensure that all waste cleared from drains is collected, loaded onto haulage trucks, and transported to the appropriate disposal sites.
