The Spirit of Adoption

✦ REFLECTION ✦
You have not been hired as a servant in God's house. You have been adopted as a son or daughter. The word 'Abba' is the intimate Aramaic word a child uses for their father — closer to 'Daddy' than 'Sir.' This is your standing before God right now. You approach Him not with trembling dread, but with the confidence of a beloved child running into a father's arms. There is no fear in this relationship — only love.

Abba, Father — let me say that with fresh wonder today. You are not a distant Judge watching my failures. You are my Father who delights in me. Teach me to live as Your child, not as an orphan. Amen.

Before the world began, God had you in mind. You are not an accident or an afterthought; you are His craftsmanship, His poem, His work of art. Just as a master sculptor sees the finished form inside the raw marble, God sees in you the full and glorious person He is shaping. Today, refuse every voice that calls you ordinary. You were designed with divine intentionality.

Lord, thank You for crafting me with purpose and precision. Help me to see myself as You see me, not through the lens of my past or my failures, but through Your eyes of love and design. Let me walk today in the identity You have given me in Jesus Name, Amen.
