Septonic In Ghana

You wouldn't believe what i saw recently in my area while it was raining. My only regret is that i was not quick enough to take a picture or video of it to share.
It was raining heavily, on my way home in a taxi i saw a vacuum truck (Toilet truck) packed by the side of the road. For a minute i thought it was stuck there in the mud because it was a rough road flooded with the rain water.

But as we approached, the truck started moving slowing as if to pack properly, only to pass the truck to notice that it was releasing raw sewage into the running rain water on the road. the whole place was smelling so terribly, every one in the taxi was full of disgust at what this driver of the truck was doing

Its a shame that such a thing could happen in our country in this then age. That when we think we have safely dislodge our septic tanks and PAID FOR IT, these truck can just dispose of the sewage indiscriminately, with no regard whatsoever for the health of others and our environment.

Lets be responsible for others and our country.
