Trying out Wele (cow hide) for the first time - 5 years later courtesy of . Grandma dished me a plate of apim, kontomire stew, local salmon and wele! Tasted like the skin off ‘mazondo’ for those Zimbabweans wondering, it actually taste like maguru and mazondo had a kid together 🤣.
I think we will work on a new menu item with this. The kontomoire stew was good too so flavorful, the apim I’m not a fan of - give me ripe plantain anyday 😄
