Protecting Your ATM Debit Card

Your Visa enabled ATM debit card is not only used for withdrawing cash from an ATM. Protecting only your Personal Identification Number (PIN) will not safeguard you from online fraud and identity theft.
ATM debit cards can be used for making purchases online and all a fraudster needs are your 16 digit card number, card expiry date and your 3 digit card verification number which is at the back of your ATM card.
Do not leave your ATM cards lying around with the notion that only you know your ATM PIN.
PIN can only safeguard ATM cash withdrawals and not online purchases.
