🚨 Election Day in Ghana: Dos & Don'ts for a Safe and Secure Voting Experience 🚨
🇬🇭 Ghana decides! As we head to the polls to elect our President and Members of Parliament, it's important to ensure we have a peaceful and credible election. Here are key things you should NOT do on Election Day:
1️⃣ Do NOT engage in violence or arguments – If a disagreement arises, report it to the appropriate authorities. Violence and intimidation have no place in our democratic process.
2️⃣ Do NOT take photos or videos of your ballot – Your vote is private. Taking photos of your ballot in the booth is prohibited and can lead to penalties.
3️⃣ Do NOT wear party-branded attire – Avoid wearing clothing or accessories that display political party logos or slogans to prevent unnecessary tension or confrontation.
4️⃣ Do NOT campaign at polling stations – Campaigning within a specified distance from the polling station is illegal. Respect the rules to maintain a peaceful environment.
5️⃣ Do NOT spread false information – Sharing unverified or fake news can create panic and undermine the process. Stay informed with trusted and verified news sources only.
6️⃣ Do NOT attempt to vote more than once – Voting more than once is illegal and carries serious consequences. Let integrity guide your actions.
7️⃣ Do NOT interfere with election officials – Allow officials to perform their duties without disruption. Any complaints should be directed through the appropriate channels.
8️⃣ Do NOT loiter around polling stations after voting – Once you've cast your vote, leave the polling station to reduce crowding and maintain order.
Let's make this Election Day a success by adhering to these guidelines. Ghana’s democracy depends on us all!

Why Your May Not Be Achieving the Best Results—and What You Can Do About It
Is your corporate security department falling short of expectations? If so, you're not alone. Many businesses face challenges in optimizing their security efforts, which can leave them vulnerable to both internal and external threats. But understanding why this is happening is the first step to fixing it. Here are some key reasons why your corporate security might be underperforming—and how you can turn it around:
Lack of Clear Objectives: If your security department doesn't have a well-defined mission and measurable goals, their efforts may be scattered and unfocused. Solution: Set clear, SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) that align with your company’s overall strategy.
Inadequate Training: Security personnel may not be fully equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to handle evolving threats. Solution: Invest in regular training programs to keep your team up-to-date on the latest security technologies, threat assessment techniques, and emergency response procedures.
Insufficient Communication: Security teams often operate in silos, disconnected from other departments. Solution: Foster better collaboration between security and other departments like HR, IT, and management to ensure security measures are integrated into the company’s broader operations.
Outdated Technology and Processes: Relying on outdated security equipment and processes can leave your company vulnerable. Solution: Regularly evaluate and upgrade your security infrastructure to stay ahead of potential threats.
Reactive Rather Than Proactive Approach: Waiting for incidents to happen before addressing vulnerabilities is a recipe for disaster. Solution: Implement a proactive approach with regular risk assessments, security audits, and preventive measures.
By addressing these key issues, you can strengthen your corporate security department and ensure it delivers the results your business needs. A well-managed and proactive security team is essential for safeguarding your assets, people, and reputation.
