When I first started using a pen in primary school, any time I made a mistake, I would struggle to erase it before submitting my work to the teacher.
Sometimes I used chalk to clean the error, but it would later reappear.

Then I tried saliva it worked for a moment, but only ended up tearing holes in my books.
My teachers would beat me for being extremely dirty, yet all I was trying to do was hide my mistake.

One day, a kind-hearted teacher who truly loved me called me aside and said,
“Anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on.” He continued, “Trying to erase your mistakes will only destroy your book.”
I protested and told him I didn’t want people to see my mistakes.

He laughed gently and replied,
Trying to erase your mistakes will only draw more attention to them and the damage may last forever. Have you made mistakes in life? Cross them out and move on.

Don’t expose yourself by trying too hard to cover your errors.
Better days are ahead of you.

Strike out last month’s mistakes and step into the new months with a fresh page.
