2 Chro 26:15.
And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.
But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction.
We do always pray for breakthroughs and Gods blessings and riches upon us. As good as it is in the will of God to prosper us and increase us and make us great, it is equally important to note also that it is in the will of the devil to use the blessings of God as an occasion to cause us to sin against him. They that fall, fall from a height. Unfortunately you don’t fall when you are already on the the base level. I have realized that greatness actually caused the great to fall a very great fall.
Heavenly Father I pray, that my greatness will not be the reason why I turn my back on the faith. So help me God.
