Prostate gland: the prostate gland is a walnut sized gland which weigh about 20g and located between the bladder and the p***s. The prostate sits just in front of the re**um. The urethra runs through the center of the prostate, from the bladder to the p***s letting flow out of the body.

A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection that affects any part of the urinary system, which includes the kidneys, bladder, ureters, and urethra. UTIs are commonly caused by bacteria, although they can also be caused by viruses or fungi. Here's everything you need to know about UTIs:

Types of UTIs: UTIs can be classified into different types based on the location of the infection within the urinary tract:
Lower UTI: Infection in the bladder is known as cystitis.
Upper UTI: Infection in the kidneys is called pyelonephritis.
Urethritis: Infection in the urethra.
Causes: The most common cause of UTIs is the transfer of bacteria from the digestive tract, such as Escherichia coli (E. coli), to the urinary system through the urethra. Other bacteria like Staphylococcus saprophyticus and Klebsiella pneumoniae can also cause UTIs. Risk factors that increase the likelihood of developing UTIs include sexual activity, female anatomy (shorter urethra), menopause, urinary tract abnormalities, catheter use, suppressed immune system, and certain birth control methods.
Symptoms: The symptoms of UTIs may vary depending on the location and severity of the infection, but common signs and symptoms include:
Frequent urination
Pain or a burning sensation during urination
Urgency to urinate
Cloudy, bloody, or strong-smelling urine
Pelvic pain or pressure
Fatigue
Fever or chills (in more severe cases)
Diagnosis: A doctor may diagnose a UTI through a combination of medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests. A urine sample is typically analyzed to check for the presence of bacteria, red and white blood cells, and other indicators of infection. In some cases, additional imaging tests may be conducted to evaluate the urinary tract for any abnormalities.
