The Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, led by President Dr. Paul Owusu Donkor, joined PIWC Sakumono for a service focused on gratitude, unity, and professional solidarity.

Hosted by Apostle Pharm. Seth Fianko-Larbi, we also honored the legacy of Pharm. Charles Abrokwah. The President urged the public to always seek pharmacists’ advice on medicines.

DECLARATION OF INTENT — YELARGE FOR PSGH-GAR SECRETARY

Dear Esteemed Pharmacists,

My name is Kwasi Yelarge, Pharm.D and MBA Candidate

With deep respect for our noble profession and a strong belief in the power of collective action, I humbly declare my intention to serve as the Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, Greater Accra Region (PSGH-GAR).

Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving our profession and community in various leadership and volunteer capacities:

I have served as the Vice President, Ghana Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (GPSA - KNUST), as a member of the IPSF Health Committee, as the Chair, Pharmakristo Committee, and I have also served as the President of the Pharmaceutical Students Federation of Ghana, which is made up of all pharmacy students in Ghana.
I have voluntarily offered my service during various AGMs since 2019.

I serve as the Secretary to the Supervisory Committee of the Pharmacists’ Credit Union and also the Inter-Committee (Ghana Cooperative Pharmacists’ Credit Union Ltd.)
I led projects and documentations at the Sompahemaa Foundation, and worked on documentations with the ECPG in its elections committee.

These experiences have strengthened my dedication to service, organization, and transparency — values I seek to bring to on as the Secretary of PSGH-GAR.

If given the opportunity to serve, I pledge to:
✅ Ensure efficient communication and documentation within the region.
✅ Strengthen collaboration and member engagement, ensuring all members are carried along.
✅ Uphold the principles of Integrity, Hard Work, and Honesty in every task entrusted to me.

Together, we can build a more connected, responsive, and impactful PSGH-GAR. A PSGH-GAR that truly reflects the unity and professionalism of pharmacists in the Greater Accra Region.

I therefore humbly seek your support and vote to serve as PSGH-GAR Secretary.
Let’s move forward with passion, positivity, and professionalism.
