Asalamullah Alaikum....
Who Do You Call A Friend?
The Answer Is; _Those Who Stand Besides You In Times Of Need!_😌
We Can Relate Qur'an 24:62;
اِنَّمَا الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَاِذَا كَانُوۡا مَعَهٗ عَلٰٓى اَمۡرٍ جَامِعٍ لَّمۡ يَذۡهَبُوۡا حَتّٰى يَسۡتَاۡذِنُوۡهُ​ ؕ اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ يَسۡتَـاْذِنُوۡنَكَ اُولٰٓـئِكَ الَّذِيۡنَ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ
As;
The True Companion (Friends) Are Only Those Who Sincerely beliyeve In Allah And In His Messenger and Who, Whenever You Need them, They Do Not Go Away Until You Have Asked Them To.
Friend Are Not Considered As Those Whom Only Laugh Or Share Informations With You! Cause If We Read Qur'an 2:14 , We Can Relate It.

وَاِذَا لَقُوۡا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا قَالُوۡاۤ اٰمَنَّا ۖۚ وَاِذَا خَلَوۡا اِلٰى شَيٰطِيۡنِهِمۡۙ قَالُوۡاۤ اِنَّا مَعَكُمۡۙ اِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ مُسۡتَهۡزِءُوۡنَ‏  
As,
When They Meet The Believers, They Pretend: “We Love You” But When They Meet Their Evil Companions/Friends (In Private), They Say: “Surely We Are With You; We Were Only Fooling Them.”
When Choosing A Friend, Chose Wisely Cause Some Will Only Lead To Great Distraction.
Qur'an Chapter 25:27
وَيَوۡمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلٰى يَدَيۡهِ يَقُوۡلُ يٰلَيۡتَنِى اتَّخَذۡتُ مَعَ الرَّسُوۡلِ سَبِيۡلًا‏•يٰوَيۡلَتٰى لَيۡتَنِىۡ لَمۡ اَتَّخِذۡ فُلَانًا خَلِيۡلًا‏•لَقَدۡ اَضَلَّنِىۡ عَنِ الذِّكۡرِ بَعۡدَ اِذۡ جَآءَنِ•
_And A Day Will Come When Some People Will Bite Their Hands Saying; I Wish I Stood By The Messenger! Woe To Me, I Shouldn't Have Made This Person My Friend.Verily He Misguided Me While I Had Guidance_

DIGNITY OF BEING A HUMAN 😍
The dignity of man is a principle which is very fascinating and appealing for me. The Quran, in a very profound aayah (one of my favorite one) has cemented for eternity its importance.

Allah says in Quran:

و لقد كرمنا بنى ادم

'And We have certainly honoured the children of Adam ...' (17:70)

Here Allah ta'ala used the word كرم which is usually used to describe giving honour, dignity, nobility etc. In Arabic, this word, is used to describe something that is through-and-through good and exquisite, like an expensive diamond on display at a museum, covered with glass - extra special care has to be taken care of it - that care and respect is what كرم denotes. Or a horse of the most exotic breed, which has the most beautiful hair and fastest speed, like the Arabian horse, that too would be called مكرم. In our experience that could probably translate to a very shiny Ferrari, it would be مكرم in our eyes. Something that you should be extremely careful in dealing with, something extremely valuable, extremely rare - this is all embodied in the word كرم.

Allah is telling us that He gave human beings dignity but the word choice suggests that He gave us dignity through making human beings valuable. Allah ta'ala put value inside of us. Allah made each one us worth being respected for some goodness that each one of us has.

The thing though is that diamonds are sometimes covered with dust and aren't recognisable on the outside. Similarly you meet people and you can't seem to realise why you should respect them. Still you need to honor every single human you come across no matter what!
