Last year, a group of volunteer vets from Poland visited us in Martvili. During our neutering campaign, we found Baby, hiding out in a ditch. He was scared of everything and everyone, and clearly hadn't been eating well.

After neutering, we couldn't put him back on the street — but we couldn't find anyone to adopt him either.

It was Konrad, one of the volunteer vets, who decided to take him. Today, Konrad and Baby are living happily in Poland and are the best of friends. Thank you! ❤️

An army of people pitched in at the neutering site in Tskaltubo, including our Czech friends and volunteers , our volunteer vets, Kivi clinic employees who joined for a day, the locals who helped mobilize local families, and the employees of the clinic. Thank you! Together, we neutered 453 animals after 6 days of hard work.

🚨 OIPA Raises Concerns Over Stray Animal Management in Georgia

OIPA ETS has sent an official letter to Georgian authorities and diplomatic representations, expressing concerns regarding the current management of stray animals in the country and requesting greater transparency and clarification on the situation.

📍 Based on reports and documented evidence, several issues have been identified, including:
* animals taken for sterilisation not being returned to their original habitat
* repeated capture of already sterilised dogs
* relocation of animals to unsuitable areas
* lack of information regarding the whereabouts of many animals

In its letter, OIPA has requested that the competent authorities:

* ensure that animals taken for sterilisation are returned to their original habitat
* avoid the unnecessary capture of already sterilised animals
* provide clear and transparent information on the whereabouts of animals

🌍 The situation is attracting increasing international attention.
