Hello everyone, I'm Sivan and I've called Tbilisi home for the past ten years. I'd like to introduce you to my movement classes based on the Feldenkrais Method—an approach I've personally trained in for over 35 years and became certified in 14 years ago.
Feldenkrais is a somatic method for personal development, employing conscious movement to refine effective and more creative solutions for better overall movement and, consequently, a richer life experience.
The lesson sets differ significantly from any familiar movement practices. Classes are structured to prevent automatic repetition, encouraging conscious action without practitioner interference. This fosters a direct connection between our movements and the brain through the nervous system. The magic happens as an awakened mind forms new connections.
This practice is about letting go of willpower and effort. Instead, it's an invitation to discover ease, softness, and tap into the natural laziness we are born with to preserve strength and save energy.
Dr. Feldenkrais crafted a method that liberates individuals from fixed patterns, allowing improvement in various life domains. An awakened mind expands our range of action, uncovering new paths for enhancement. Studying, be it in music, cognition, science, or sports, becomes more accessible and enjoyable.
This practice is highly beneficial for children, for individuals confronting physical challenges arising from accidents, birth conditions, or other factors and effectively preserving both body and brain plasticity for the future.

Conscious movement lessons are group classes for self improvement, based on Feldenkrais Method® of awareness through movement.
The lessons are pleasant and easy to perform, require no effort,
Suitable for anyone in any physical-mental state, at any age.
Different from any practice you know, provokes a renewed observation of our way of acting, our ability to absorb and understand, a type of deep internal massage.
Through practice we are directed to notice what we are doing here and now, release muscular and other tensions that are unnecessary, open a pass for change to discover an easier and better way of acting.
Such a deep change in our movement affects all areas of life for the better.

Gentle and Pleasant Movement Sessions for Self-Improvement and General Well-Being, Guided by Sivan Avshalom, Certified in the Feldenkrais Method.

The possibilities for improvement are within our reach at any age and phase, all we have to do is see the path and follow it.
Classes at 'Sense in motion' are movement classes, they are pleasant and easy to perform, no need of effort, no willpower is required, no push, struggle or use of unnecessary force. They are different than anything you know.
The movements challenge the nervous system for self-learning so that everyone can discover their own special way of moving, of doing, of being themselves.
The practice in 'Sense In Motion' center leads to integration of body and mind and to overall organization and by that brings benefit and improvement in all areas of life.
