Creating change starts with showing up.
Recently, members of St George's University Education Conservation and Outreach (ECO) student organization partnered with Good Deeds Day for a cleanup initiative at Levera Beach, one of Grenada's most important turtle nesting sites.
By taking part, ECO members joined millions of volunteers across more than 115 countries working to strengthen communities and protect the environment through service.
As ECO President Denorge Alexis shared, the initiative is about more than cleaning a beach—it's about "building a culture of responsibility" and showing how small actions can make a big difference.🌎
