In Loving Memory of Stella "MA" Harris, née Lewis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stella "Ma" Harris, née Lewis.

Stella was a kind, gentle, and compassionate woman whose warmth and caring nature touched the lives of many.

Although she experienced personal tragedies early in life during hurricane Janet and the tragic loss of her husband, she faced them with remarkable strength and resilience. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her children, (who were many) providing them with love, guidance, and unwavering support. Her dedication as a mother was evident in all she did, and her legacy will continue to live on through them.

As we mourn her passing, we extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to her children, grandchildren, relatives, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

May they find comfort in the treasured memories she leaves behind and strength in the love she shared so freely.

We also as a community, mourn her passing as an elder of the village and a well loved and respected person.

May the soul of Stella "Ma" Harris rest in eternal peace.

With sadness we announce the passing of Hazelyn Welcome nee Dowden, who passed away in the USA.

We extend our condolences to her immediate family and we the community mourn her passing.

May she rest in Peace.
