Over the next two days we will be working to create as many ganes as possible as part of the world's largest jam event. Follow our story!

Global Game Jam 2025 returns to Wrexham this Friday! The worlds largest creative jam event where people come together to try and make games within a 48 hour period. Any type of game counts... digital games, board games, hardware projects... so long as they fit in with the official theme!

I know we have a lot of regulars who join us, but for anyone else who is interested... it's FREE, and open to ALL. No prior skills or expertise needed. That's all part of the fun!

This year we are also supporting younger learners and welcome attendees from schools/colleges.

A great Welcome Week here at Wrexham ending with some of our games freshers testing out their board game creations (made from as many recycled components as possible) as part of our traditional Conversion Catastrophe challenge! 🎮🏆

Monday saw many of our games students take part in the annual Lightning Pitch event. Participating students each deliver a 5 minute business pitch to a large audience based on their current active project.

The quality was excellent with a number of interesting games in production. Looking forward to playing them at our expo later this year!
