People sometimes ask me if they should use antibiotics or tea tree oil. I have to respond that tea tree (Melaleuca) oil IS an antibiotic. It's just one produced by a plant not one made in a laboratory.
Plants produce chemicals to protect themselves from pests and diseases. When we force steam through the plant leaves and then condense it the liquid, on top of the water is the essential oil of that plant, containing all the chemicals that were in tne plant.... and nothing else.
My go-to for any infection, or potential infection, is pure therapeutic grade tea tree oil.
