We are excited to welcome Sam Lewis to the Worcester RFC coaching setup as forwards coach for the 2026/27 season! 💪

Sam needs no introduction to Worcester rugby fans. The Welsh flanker made over 120 appearances for Worcester Warriors in the Gallagher Premiership between 2015 and 2022, earning a reputation as a tireless, committed and technically outstanding back row forward.

Before his time at Sixways, Sam came through the Ospreys academy and made 65 appearances for the Welsh region in the PRO12 and European Champions Cup, playing alongside some of the biggest names in Welsh rugby. He went on to play for Bristol Bears before retiring from professional rugby in 2023.

We were fortunate enough to have Sam as a player in our senior squad last season, and we are now thrilled to welcome him into the coaching setup. His experience and knowledge of the game is a huge asset to Worcester RFC. Welcome to the coaching team, Sam!

We are delighted to confirm that Gordon Ross will continue as Head Coach of Worcester RFC for the 2026/27 season!

A former Scottish international fly-half with 25 caps, Gordon represented clubs including Edinburgh, Leeds Tykes, Saracens and London Welsh across a distinguished playing career before moving into coaching.

Gordon has strong ties to Worcester, having spent five years on the coaching staff at Worcester Warriors, developing the next generation of talent through the academy. He went on to serve as backs coach at Dragons RFC before taking up his current role as backs coach at Coventry RFC, combining that with his role at Worcester RFC.

Last season under his leadership was one to remember, with Worcester I winning the Counties 1 Midlands West title with an unbeaten season, Worcester II claiming the North Midlands Vase Plate and both sides earning promotion, a remarkable double achievement for the club.

We are thrilled to continue our journey with him into what promises to be an exciting season in Regional 2 Midlands West!
