This needs reporting for reasons many and varied, not least because young Englishman, Zack Humphries, has recently taken the 15cc powerboat FSR-Endurance title at the van Marle International, held over the 14 – 16th May in Spaarnwoude, Holland. In a win that can only be described as conclusive, Zack took the qualifying rounds for the A-Final (beating 70 international competitors from all corners of Europe), then went on to clinch victory from current Naviga World Champion Christian Hof, current IMBRA/FSR World Champion Mauro Braghieri, plus multi world championship winning drivers Sebastian Videmount and Eric Costa. Campaigning his faithful Boudicca, Zack reports that the tense 30-minute final is no place for unreliable equipment and made particular mention of his Multiplex Royal SX 16. “I’ve used other transmitters from well know brands but still the Royal SX is the most comfortable to use. I find this a great help.” Our congrats to Zack on a truly impressive weekend’s work.
