Those last twenty minutes before bed can go one of two ways 😅
We’ve been using our calm-down cards at bedtime lately and honestly, they’ve become one of my favourite parts of the day.
A deep breath together, a little cuddle, a card. It just... works.
If your evenings feel a bit chaotic right now, these might be worth a try 💛

Children believe what they’re told, especially by the people they love most.
That’s why a few positive words, repeated often, can have such a lasting impact 💛
It’s never too early to start journaling ✨
With little ones, you might be the one holding the pen, writing down what they tell you. Older kids can take it from there themselves. Either way, you’re helping them find words for feelings they don’t quite have language for yet. And that’s exactly how they learn to recognise those feelings later.
What this actually builds, over time: a bigger emotional vocabulary, the feeling of being properly listened to, and a little daily moment together that doesn’t need to take more than a few minutes.
