🍁🍂 2023 Autumn statement summary of announcements.

🍁Class 2 National Insurance for self employed abolished - this should save the average self employed person £192 per annum.

🍁Full expensing business tax break has been made permanent.

🍁Business rates have been frozen as well as 75% discount for retails, hospitality & leisure companies.

🍁Small business multiplier has been frozen for another year.

🍁The financial incentives for Investment Zones and tax relief for Freeports has been extended from 5 to 10 years.

🍁National minimum wage will rise by 9.8% in April 2024 to £11.44 per hour (ages 21 & over).

🍁Employee National insurance main rate cut by 2% from 12% to 10% to start from January 6th 2024.

🍁State pension will be increased by 8.5% from April 2024.
