A P5 in class doesn't even begin to tell the story of the final race of the season yesterday at !

Going into the final round of the season, a strong podium finish for us and a bit of a disaster for our rivals would have meant one heck of a comeback for the clubman championship. Unfortunately for the latter happened and after a ludicrously strong double stint from , with an hour to go we were in 3rd and was chasing down 2nd place.

The bad fortune then swung our way with a dropped engine mount and after a long stop to get it sorted we ended up with a 5th to end the season which wasn't quite enough!

Huge congratulations to on the clubman 6 hour championship win and to for the overall!

All over for us at GYG 😭 our first DNF this season after another kart rode over our right engine removing the air box. A puncture and a loose clutch bolt all add up to a thoroughly miserable Sunday!

On to Warden Law for the final round in 3 weeks!
