Head of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ), Anthony Ratchford, has gained one of the logistics industry’s highest distinctions after being named a Chartered Fellow with The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT).

Congratulations to Anthony on achieving this hard-earned peer recognition! 🍾

It follows a year of major achievements for Anthony, who was awarded the Colleague of the Year trophy at our Shareholder Gala in January for the career-defining role he played in our move to Waterways Business Park in Ettingshall.

He has gone above and beyond in his role at Pallet-Track and we are incredibly proud to have him on our team. 👏🏼

📢 We have a fantastic opportunity for new colleagues to join our night operation.

The successful candidate must have operated continuously for the last 12 months on a counterbalance forklift truck, have at least two years experience loading and unloading double deck trailers, and be used to working in a fast paced, time critical environment.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Ensure all safety checks and relevant documentation are completed on your forklift truck at the start of your shift.
- Observe site rules at all times, including driving at a safe speed for the type of load, surface conditions and surrounding environment.
- Unload and load trailers within the timeframe set
- Ensure weight distribution is consistent across decks and axles, taking care when stacking and distributing pallets in an efficient manner.
- Operate safely and consistently in your environment with 20+ forklift trucks
- Carry out all your duties and responsibilities with reasonable care for your own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
- Co-operate fully in all matters of Health & Safety.

Hours
- Contracted 45 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- Shifts between the hours of 18:00hrs - 07:00hrs

We’ve reached new heights with our 2026 fundraising for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity! 🚁

Our Colleagues, Shareholder Members and Partners have gone above and beyond, raising over £21,000 so far this year, to support its lifesaving missions and fund the charity’s critical care car, which supports nighttime operations ensuring they can continue to deliver 24-hour emergency cover.

A special shout out goes to Freya Sangha, EA to our group CEO, for taking on the charity’s tandem skydive in celebration of 35 years of lifesaving service and for boosting our fundraising efforts in the process. 🙌
