In-Depth Photos

I was lucky enough to get some clear skies last week on my family camping trip at Camp Eden situated at Lowther Castle in the lake district.

Had to wait until all the lights had been turned off from the campsite bar that lit the castle in multiple colours to get these.

Long exposures of around 15-25secs and utilised some painting with light to bring out details in the castle.

I finally got around to getting all of our girls baby prints, printed and framed so they all match.

Our eldest two (my step daughters) were printed in sepia and on a white board from a company that went bump a few years ago.

It was always our intention to have them all matching but we just never got around to doing it.

The quality of my reproduction of the older images is honestly far superior to what we had on the wall already.

I fixed some blow out issues where the head merged with the background with some clever photoshop work. Converted to B&W and boosted the clarity and sharpness of the images.

My chosen framing and print supplier worked with me on creating a custom matt for the frame with my chosen frame mould.

Happy is a true understatement.
