Today, I was honoured to attend the Falklands Memorial Service at Wolverhampton Cenotaph and lay a wreath in memory of those who served and sacrificed during the Falklands conflict.

As we reflect on the courage and dedication of all who served, we also remember those who never returned home, including Wolverhampton's own Adrian Anslow, who lost his life in 1982 at the age of just 20.

It was particularly moving to see members of the Anslow family in attendance as our city continues to honour Adrian's memory and recognise the sacrifice made by him and so many others.

Lest we forget.

On Sunday, I was delighted to attend the Gluten Free Summer Festival celebrating 21 years of the Young Wolverhampton Coeliac Group.

It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the event and to recognise the dedication of the volunteers and supporters who have helped the group provide friendship, support and inclusion for children and families living with coeliac disease.

Congratulations on reaching this fantastic milestone, and thank you for the warm welcome.

🌈 A fantastic day at Wolverhampton Pride 2026, celebrating the diversity, inclusion and community spirit that make our city so special.

It was wonderful to see so many people come together for the parade and celebrations, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for all.

Thank you to the organisers, volunteers and everyone who took part in making this year's Pride such a success.

🌈 Happy Pride, Wolverhampton
