Sometimes it just isn’t meant to be. I was gutted when I dropped this and a bit chipped from the bowl of the spoon. Normally I toss a spoon that doesn’t make the mark on the camp fire but instead I decided this is my spoon.

And to answer those of you who’s first question is; “are those dog poo bags in the top left of the pic?”
Yes. Yes they are.

It’s been a long while since I’ve carved but a few weeks ago while camping my mate threw me this piece of spalted oak and I found it to be a bit of nice material to work with. Anyway I hope you like it. I am in pursuit of some wood to carve so I’m hoping to have something more to show you soon.
