WINDSOR RUGBY CLUB : TIDY UP DAY

A big thank you to everyone who came along to help at today’s Windsor RFC Tidy Up Day.

It’s incredible what can be achieved when people give up a few hours of their time and work together. Thanks to the efforts of all our volunteers, we made a huge difference around the club, tackling jobs both big and small and helping to keep Windsor RFC looking its best ahead of the season.

Days like this remind us that our club is built on more than just what happens on the pitch. The willingness of members, players, parents, supporters and friends to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand is what makes Windsor RFC such a special community.

Thank you again to everyone who contributed their time, energy and hard work today. Your support is greatly appreciated, and the results speak for themselves. We couldn’t do it without you.

WINDSOR RUGBY CLUB : U18 COLTS GRADUATE

Well... that’s it. As it’s 1st July, the 2025/26 season is officially over, and just like that our U18 Colts have graduated to senior rugby. 💚❤️🧡🖤

It’s hard to believe that for many of these lads, their Windsor RFC journey started when they were just 5 years old. Thirteen years of muddy boots, early Sunday mornings, countless tackles, lifelong friendships, unforgettable tours, victories, defeats, and probably enough post-match sausages to feed a small country!

Some are heading off to university, some into apprenticeships or work, some are already talking about pulling on a senior shirt, and we’re delighted that a few are coming straight back to help coach the next generation of Colts. Seeing them go from tiny Minis who could barely carry a rugby ball to young adults wanting to give something back to the club is something every volunteer can be incredibly proud of.

To every one of you – thank you for the memories, the laughs, the occasional heart attacks for your parents on the touchline, and for making Windsor RFC what it is.

Remember, graduating from Colts doesn’t mean leaving your rugby family behind. Whether you’re playing every Saturday, coaching on a Sunday morning, popping in for a pint, or just fancy reminding your old coaches that you definitely did score that try 10 years ago... you’ll always have a home at Windsor RFC.

Good luck with whatever comes next. We can’t wait to see what you achieve, both on and off the pitch.
